Southwestern Ontario community to become the latest to offer ENERGY STAR® qualified homes

(Delhi, Ontario) Ed Debusschere Custom Homes Limited and EnerQuality Corporation invite media to attend the launch of the latest environmentally sustainable and energy efficient community. Built to the strict technical qualifications of the ENERGY STAR for New Homes initiative, Norfolk Fairway Estates will help reduce total home energy consumption by up to 30%, electricity consumption by up to 1200 kWh and green house gas emissions between 2 and 3 tonnes per year.

is a label given to homes that meet balanced, whole-house energy-efficiency standards, guaranteeing their owners significant energy savings. New homes that receive the ENERGY STAR label area approximately 30 percent more energy efficient than those built to the minimum Ontario building code standards. The ENERGY STAR mark, used with permission, is administered and promoted in Canada by Natural Resources Canada
